About B2C2

The Back Bay Cycling Club (B2C2) is a competitive cycling team based in Boston, MA.  We are active in the disciplines of road racing, cross-country mountain bike racing, and cyclocross.  B2C2 is a small, focused group of like-minded individuals who strive to succeed at races, but also to have fun.

B2C2 formed during July of 2008.  A four-man team entered the 24-hour’s of Pat’s Peak mountain bike race in Henniker, NH.  After battling through the night, the team emerged victorious.  Riding on that success, that same team entered the 24-hour’s of Great Glen, contested at the base of Mt. Washington.  Again, the team placed 1st in the Men’s Sport category.

Cyclo-cross season saw similar triumphs, with 1st year riders taking podium finishes at Sucker Brook ‘Cross in Auburn, NH; The Grand Prix of Gloucester in Gloucester, MA; and The Cycle-Smart International in Northampton, MA.  From these humble beginnings, a team was born.  We currently field 20+ active racers, from Category 4 to UCI Elite.
